Contemporary Rural Dwellings in Jordan: Conception, Construction, Habitation The Case Study of Umm al-Yanabi' Town

CSBE carried out, in association with - and through support from - Uraiqat Architects, a study that addresses contemporary rural dwellings in Jordan.  The study concentrates on the town of Umm al-Yanabi’ in the ‘Ajlun Governorate in northern Jordan, and was facilitated by Habitat for Humanity – Jordan. It examines various aspects relating to such dwellings, including how they are conceived, designed, licensed, financed, constructed, inhabited, and expanded upon.
