Princess Iman Public Garden – An activity of Nour al-Barakah Organization
Princess Iman Public Garden is located along al-Ahwaz Street in al-Rabiyyah area in Amman. The western part of the garden includes seating areas, planted areas, and a children’s play area. Its eastern part is managed by Nour al-Barakah, a local non-profit organization that aims at providing adults with mental disabilities an opportunity to enhance their skills through environmental activities.
As part of the organization’s activities, an eco-friendly multi-use building and a gathering space have been built using recycled materials such as tires, wooden platforms, and plastic and glass bottles. Part of the garden is used for organic farming, where herbs and vegetables are grown. Other activities that Nour al-Barakah carries out in the garden include recycling, composting, and handicrafts making.
A public Saturday Market is held weekly at the garden, where organic products, handicrafts, and compost are sold.

حديقة الأميرة إيمان العامة – نشاط لجمعية نور البركة
تقع حديقة الأميرة إيمان بمحاذاة شارع الأهواز في منطقة الرابية في عمّان. ويحتوي الجزء الغربي من الحديقة على مساحات مزروعة ومساحات للجلوس ومنطقة لللعب. وتدير جمعية نور البركة الجزء الغربي منها، وهي جمعية تهدف إلى تمكين الشباب ذوي الإحتياجات الخاصة من ممارسة حياتهم الإجتماعية بشكل أفضل عن طريق دمجهم في النشاطات البيئية.
وقامت الجمعية بإنشاء مبنى صديق للبيئة في الحديقة بإستخدام مواد معاد تدويرها من دواليب وخشب وعلب البلاستيك وزجاج. ويستخدم جزء من الحديقة أيضاً للزراعة العضوية حيث يتم إنتاج الخضار والأعشاب. كما تقوم الجمعية بنشاطات أخرى مثل إعادة التدوير وإنتاج الأسمدة العضوية والأشغال اليدوية. ويقام في الحديقة أيام السبت سوق مفتوح لبيع المنتجات العضوية والأشغال اليدوية.
